Book an appointment.
BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE
New horses require the owner/guardian to fill out an intake form at least one day before the appointment.
I prefer an owner/guardian present at the first session, but I understand that may not be possible. Otherwise, someone who knows the horse should be present.
If you are scheduling for your barn, I will need one person to coordinate times. If there are no time preferences, I will assign times. Please send everyone the link to the form, so I have their contact information and horse information.
Generally, the max is four horses a day with 2-hour time slots.
This is not all hands-on time. This allows me time for discussion, reporting, and breaks.
See below for travel fees.
Following the booking, you will receive an email with additional information on what to expect before, during, and after your horse’s massage.
Payment is due at the point of service. Cash or check is preferred, but Venmo, Square, and PayPal are also accepted.
HOW TO BOOK
Book a session for your horse or multiple horses at your barn by sending me an email to anne@schuylermoonequine.com with the following information:
What is your name?
How many horses?
What is the name/location of your barn?
When are you hoping to schedule?
Are there any time/day constraints that are important to know?
Are there any additional details to know?
I will respond with suggested dates, and we can discuss times once they are confirmed.
FEES AND POLICIES
Equine massage is not a substitute for veterinary care. An equine massage practitioner does not have the authority to diagnose, provide a prognosis, or treat illnesses or injuries. If you suspect your horse is unwell or injured, seeking advice from a qualified and appropriate equine healthcare professional for the necessary treatment is crucial. I would be happy to consult and collaborate with your veterinarian as a member of your horse's healthcare team.

Cancellations
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the total services booked.
Clients who fail to have their horse and themselves present at the scheduled appointment time without prior notice will incur the total cost of the scheduled service as a no-show fee. However, if both parties agree, guardians may not be mandatory for maintenance massages.
